Sunday, May 26th.
Today consisted of a nice sleep in, some good food, a cheeky golf session and an adventure at the casino. My terrible golf skills have transcended to the level where the ball is almost going in the opposite direction of the hole. Nevertheless, when I do accidentally hit a decent shot, it's a lot of fun. Yesterday I played a solid Dutch player, Marc Ter Sluis. He was one of the people who ran the PSA 1k at the beginning of this month, and is an active member of the Dutch national team. He beat me 3-1, in a close match. This evening, he texted me to join him for some activities at the casino here in The Hague. I had never been to a casino. It was fun, but not something I would do again in a hurry. Quite different from the vibes from James Bond or the Oceans movies. I walked away having lost 4 Euros; Marc was not so "lucky"...
